The Safety Geek | Remote (100%) | Contractor Position
Anticipated Start Date: Mid- to Late-February 2026
We’re on a mission to dominate the industry and become the category Queen of Safety Management Training by supporting safety professionals at all stages of their career – from the very start to the role of Chief Safety Officer to building their own safety industry business. Through our online education platform, we’re helping thousands of safety professionals transform their careers and change the culture of workplace safety.
Be the SEO engine behind our mission-driven content machine.
This isn’t your typical SEO role where you’re chasing vanity metrics. You’ll publish 7-14 SEO-optimized blog posts weekly, maintain the AI-powered automation workflows that make it possible, and drive real business results through strategic keyword targeting and conversion optimization. We need an SEO specialist who understands both traditional search and AI-powered search engines – someone who can optimize for Google, ChatGPT, and Perplexity with equal skill. You’ll work with AI-generated content, refine it for accuracy and brand voice, then publish it to WordPress with flawless technical SEO implementation. If you’re data-driven, love working with automation tools like n8n, and want your SEO work to support a mission that’s actually changing lives – this could be your perfect fit.

You’re an SEO specialist who gets genuinely excited when organic traffic climbs and stays on top of how search is evolving with AI. You understand that optimizing for ChatGPT, Perplexity, and Google’s AI Overviews is just as important as traditional search rankings. You see AI as a powerful ally – you’re comfortable refining AI-generated content and working with automation tools like n8n to make your work more efficient.
You balance technical precision with editorial judgment. You can implement schema markup and optimize Core Web Vitals, but you also have the editorial eye to catch when content doesn’t sound quite right or misses the mark for the audience. Background or knowledge in safety management is a huge plus because you’ll understand whether the content is accurate and credible.
You value autonomy and don’t need hand‑holding – just clear deliverables and deadlines. You manage your own schedule, publish consistently, and communicate proactively when issues arise. You’re drawn to mission‑driven work where your SEO efforts directly impact real people’s careers, and you treat this business like it’s your own – tracking what’s working, suggesting improvements, and actively looking for ways to drive better results.
