You will own the site, develop effective SEO strategies, manage WordPress content, monitor analytics, and collaborate with local marketing efforts to improve maps rankings and drive conversions.

Qualifications

Position Overview

Cummings Plumbing Inc. is seeking an experienced, results-driven SEO & Website Manager to oversee our company's website, improve Google search rankings, strengthen our online presence, and increase qualified customer leads.

We are looking for a dedicated, full-time employee who can take ownership of our website and digital search performance, develop and implement effective SEO strategies, and consistently deliver measurable results.

Key Responsibilities

Search Engine Optimization (SEO)

• Develop and implement strategies to improve organic Google search rankings.
• Improve visibility in Google Maps and local search results.
• Conduct keyword research targeting plumbing, HVAC, and related services.
• Analyze competitor rankings and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Optimize website content, service pages, and landing pages.
• Identify and resolve technical SEO issues.
• Develop strategies to increase organic website traffic and qualified customer leads.

Website Management

• Manage, maintain, and regularly update the company website.
• Ensure the website is functioning properly, secure, mobile-friendly, and optimized for speed.
• Create and update website pages, content, images, and promotions.
• Monitor website performance and troubleshoot technical issues.
• Implement improvements to increase customer engagement and conversions.
• Coordinate website enhancements and updates as needed.

Google Business Profile & Local SEO

• Manage and optimize the company's Google Business Profile.
• Implement strategies to improve rankings in Google Maps and local searches.
• Maintain accurate business information across online directories.
• Monitor online reviews and assist with reputation management.
  
• Improve visibility throughout Tucson and surrounding service areas.

Performance Tracking & Reporting

• Monitor Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and other SEO platforms.
• Track keyword rankings, organic website traffic, phone calls, and customer inquiries.
• Provide monthly performance reports outlining results, improvements, and opportunities.
• Establish measurable goals for increased search visibility and lead generation.

Required Qualifications

• Proven experience in SEO and website management.
• Demonstrated success improving Google rankings and organic search traffic.
• Strong knowledge of local SEO and Google Business Profile optimization.
• Experience with WordPress or comparable website platforms.
• Proficiency with Google Analytics 4, Google Search Console, and SEO tools such as SEMrush or Ahrefs.
• Understanding of technical SEO, website performance, and conversion optimization.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous SEO experience in plumbing, HVAC, or other home-service industries.
• Experience improving Google Maps rankings for local service businesses.
• Knowledge of website design, development, and digital marketing.
• Demonstrated success generating qualified leads through organic search.
