Northrop Grumman Defense Systems is looking for a Structural Engineer to join the Sentinel Infrastructure Analysis Team in Roy, Utah. This role involves designing facilities for the Sentinel program and conducting various structural analyses.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in a STEM field, proficiency in ABAQUS and ANSYS, and will hold a DoD Secret clearance. The position includes a competitive salary and benefits such as medical coverage, 401(k), and educational assistance.

Qualifications

• U.S. citizen with an active DoD Secret clearance (investigation completed within the last 5 years).
• Experience running dynamic or static analysis.
• Knowledge of structural test applications, seismic analysis (ASCE 7), missile program requirements is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design and analyze facilities and subsystems for the Sentinel program.
• Develop structural engineering specifications for materials and performance.
• Analyze damage tolerance, durability, and structural modeling.
