Job summary

Northrop Grumman in Roy, UT is seeking a Staff Systems Engineer in Modeling, Simulation, and Analysis (MS&A) to support the Sentinel ICBM program. You will lead a diverse team of engineers on physics-based modeling and simulation efforts, maturing accuracy error models, and performing post-flight estimation using test data.

A US Secret clearance is required and on-site work in a secure lab setting is expected.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in STEM with extensive related experience; 12 years for BS, 10 years with MS, 8 years with PhD.
  • Must be a US citizen with active Secret clearance; SAP approval possible.
  • Able to work on-site in a secure lab environment and travel as needed (roughly 10%).
  • Experience with physics-based modeling and simulation; strong programming skills.
  • Experience with Agile development and SEIT processes; leadership of diverse teams.

Responsibilities

  • Lead a diverse team of engineers on Sentinel/ICBM projects.
  • Develop physics-based models and simulations for ICBM accuracy.
  • Mature and validate accuracy error models against data.
  • Prepare reports and present findings to leadership and government customers.
  • Support V&V activities and ensure timely program milestones.
