The role supports ICBM launch systems and cross-team integration, driving lifecycle design decisions and requirements management. The candidate will engage with multi-tier teams, mentor engineers, and contribute to system definition, verification, and risk assessments.

Qualifications

  • Active DoD Secret clearance within the last 6 years.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in STEM from an accredited university.
  • 5+ years related experience; 3 years with Masters; 1 year with PhD.
  • 2+ years experience in Systems Engineering across lifecycle phases.
  • 2+ years direct development experience of interface products and requirement specs.
  • 1+ years experience in DOORS governance documentation.

Responsibilities

Northrop Grumman supports the Air Force’s sustainment, development, production and deployment of hardware and system modifications for Intercontinental Ballistic Missile (ICBM) Ground and Airborne Launch Control Systems, Launch Facilities and associated infrastructure.What You'll Get To Do:The successful candidate will join the Sentinel Systems Engineering, Integration, & Test (SEIT) Business Unit’s System Integration & Sustainment (SIS) Operating Unit and contribute to the Weapon System Integration (WSI) team. This multi-tiered and multi-disciplined team assesses design compatibilities across the Weapon System (WS) Segment teams. The team serves as the objective integrators to ensure requirement definition influences design decisions that ultimately ensures full-lifecycle capability effectiveness.Responsibilities
