Job summary

Raytheon’s Fullerton Field Engineering team supports Sentinel radar systems used by the US Army and allied customers. We are seeking Systems Engineers to perform maintenance, testing, modification, and integration tasks at Fullerton and overseas.

You will engage in environmental testing, test procedure development, and interoperability verification with ongoing upgrades. The role requires hands-on testing, multi-disciplinary collaboration, and readiness to travel up to 80% of the year, including

Qualifications

• Typically requires a STEM degree and a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
• Experience in System Integration & Test of hardware and software.
• Experience using technical manuals, interpreting drawings and schematics for troubleshooting.
• Experience with basic test equipment: oscilloscopes, power meters and DMMs.

Responsibilities

• Work in a team environment and provide guidance to other team members.
• Support hands-on integration and test at Fullerton Test Site.
• Support flight tests, training events, and radar modification efforts.
• Provide troubleshooting, maintenance and operational support for radar systems.
• Develop test plans and procedures for various customers.
• Communicate issues clearly to leadership and coordinate resources for resolution.
• Utilize tools and test equipment daily for radar modification and testing.
