Position Overview
Northrop Grumman Defense Systems is seeking a Program Cost Schedule Control Analyst Level 2 to support the Sentinel (GBSD) Program in the Strategic Deterrent Systems Division. The position is located in Roy, UT. Relocation assistance may be available. Clearance required: Secret. Travel: Yes - approximately 10% of the time.
Responsibilities
- Interface with program managers, functional management, and cost account managers (CAMs) to provide financial and administrative support and analysis to meet program requirements.
- Apply Earned Value and performance measurement baseline concepts to multiple contracts for control accounts within an engineering Integrated Product Team (IPT).
- Perform Earned Value Management (EVM) tasks including establishment of a Work Breakdown Structure for execution of budgeted cost of work scheduled, assessment and maintenance of objective performance criteria, and justification of estimates to complete.
- Provide support to internal and external reporting requirements for variance analysis.
- Conduct funding analysis, cost risk analysis and visibility reporting.
- Prepare or review government cost performance reports and perform performance measurement variance analysis.
- Support the development of budget baselines and maintain cost/schedule integration.
- Prepare budgets, schedules, and Estimated To Complete/Estimate At Completion (ETC/EAC).
- Assist in financial performance analyses and visibility reporting.
- Set up, monitor, and control program costs and schedules.
- Ensure contracts remain within negotiated and agreed-upon parameters through analysis and reporting.
- Incorporate contract changes into control systems and perform related estimate and forecast activities.
- Perform miscellaneous financial analysis as required.
Basic Qualifications
- Requires a bachelor’s degree with at least 2 years of experience in Business, Finance, Accounting, Cost Accounting, Aerospace and Defense, or related professional experience; a master’s degree with at least 1 year of experience; or 6 years of experience with a high school diploma (or equivalent) may be accepted in lieu of a degree.
- Must be a U.S. citizen and able to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government DoD Secret security clearance.
- Experience with Microsoft Office tools (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel) and Power BI.
- Experience with an ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) tool, Business Intelligence and Analytics tool, Project Management and Planning tool, and/or Collaboration and Integration tools.
Preferred Qualifications
- Active DoD Secret level security clearance.
- Experience in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Program Cost Analysis, or Program Scheduling.
- Aerospace/Defense industry experience.
- Experience with material cost management.
- Earned Value Management System (EVMS) experience.
- Experience working in Deltek Cobra.
- Strong PC and analytical skills.
- Ability to effectively manage competing priorities and deadlines.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent problem-solving and organizational skills.
