Northrop Grumman Defense Systems is seeking a PLT Advanced Equipment CAM Systems Engineering Manager 2 . This position will be located in Roy, UT and will support the Sentinel (GBSD) program. This role may offer a competitive relocation assistance package.

What You'll Get To Do:

• Responsible for tracking and reporting cost and schedule performance (CAM duties) of the Advanced Equipment sub-IPT of the Payload Reentry System IPT (PLT) which includes: Nuclear Surety Support Equipment, Delta Flight Test Vehicle, Beholder, and SPCTR

• Coordinates and prepares cost and schedule configuration control board (CCB) packages for baseline change approval

• Will interact with USAF for cost and schedule status of the PLT IPT

• Monitors adherence to PLT and supplier Integrated Master Schedule, identifies program problems and works with PLT IPT leadership to obtains solutions, such as allocation of resources or changing contractual specifications

• Provide people leadership that includes performance management, career development, staffing, and merit planning

• Support Sentinel initiatives, cross-campus/sector involvement, and NCTA project leadership

• Support employee development; employee inclusion, engagement, mentoring and career development; employee training and identification and training of skills required to execute programs

• Support staffing; workload forecast, recruiting, sourcing, and onboarding

This position’s standard work schedule is a 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off. This position may offer a competitive relocation package.

You'll Bring These Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics) with 6 years of related experience

• Must have an active U.S. Government DoD Secret security clearance at time of application, current and within scope with an ability to obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) approval within a reasonable period of time, as determined by the company to meet its business need

• At least 1-year experience leading a project and/or driving performance against schedule

• 1 year of experience with Earned Value Management System (EVMS) principles and application or as a Cost Account Manager (CAM)

These Qualifications Would Be Nice To Have:

• 3 years of experience with Earned Value Management System (EVMS) principles and application or as a Cost Account Manager (CAM)

• 2 years of ICBM experience

• Functional and/or Assignment manager experience

• Program Management Experience

• Supplier Management experience

• Active U.S. Government DoD Top Secret security clearance

• Active SAP clearance

• Outstanding verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills

• Demonstrated ability in prioritizing multiple tasks

• Demonstrated ability to interact effectively across all levels of the organization and with outside organizations

Salary Range: $135,100.00 - $202,700.00

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
