Job summary

Northrop Grumman is seeking a Program Mission Assurance Manager 2 to support MA functions for multiple programs in the Ogden, Utah area. You will lead a team of engineers and inspectors, ensuring quality, risk management, safety and maintainability across complex programs.

The role requires a BS with extensive experience or a MS with focused experience, and the ability to obtain a US Government Secret clearance. A 9/80 work schedule and relocation assistance may be available.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with required experience or Master’s with experience; US Government Secret clearance eligibility may be required.
• Experience in production environments and leading MA/QE teams is preferred.
• Ability to obtain a US Government Secret clearance and eligibility for Special Access Program Clearance.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of MA & QA engineers; oversee quality, risk, safety, reliability and maintainability across programs.
• Assist PMs with Mission Assurance/Program Management requirements; develop and maintain Program Quality Plans.
• Prepare and manage PCABs, program reviews, and metrics; monitor budget and cost accounting for work packages.
• Coordinate with IPT MA & QE for Conditional Acceptance; ensure timely closure of hardware actions and corrective actions.

Northrop Grumman is currently seeking a Program Mission Assurance Manager 2 to provide support to our Ogden, Utah or Roy, UT MA Team.

Qualified candidate will support MA functions to ensure mission success on multiple programs.

What You Will Get To Do

• Manage a team of engineers & inspectors. Support technical reviews of all drawings, SOW’s, Requirements documents as required.
• Performs or assures quality, risk management, safety, reliability and maintainability of achievements.
• Assesses performance and risks, and determines resources to ensure mission assurance.
• Assist the Program Managers (PM) with all Mission Assurance /Program Management requirements. Develop, implement and maintain the Program Quality Plans.
• Assign program tasks to the functional area MA & PQE’s. Support program FRBs ensuring identification of root cause and proper implementation of corrective actions and reach back and reach across.
• Lead in preparation and execution on of Program Preventive and Corrective Action Board (PCAB). Develop and maintain Program Metrics.
• Preparation of the Program Management Program Review packages. Manage budget and cost accounting over assigned work packages for each program.
• Support PQM with Sentinel Customer Corrective Action Requests.
• Support IPT MA & QE in Conditional Acceptance requirements and flow down.
• Monitor timely closure of Conditionally Accepted hardware and work corrective actions with IPT MA & QEs .
• Provide guidance and expertise to supporting professionals of MA & QA engineers.

This positions standard work schedule is a 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine‑hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off. This role may offer a competitive relocation assistance package.

You’ll Bring These Qualifications

• U.S. Citizenship eligible for Special Access Program Clearance

These Qualifications Are Nice To Have

• 3 years experience leading leading a team of experienced professionals. Experience managing people.
• Active Secret Clearance.
• Working knowledge of SAP & MES.
• 3 years experience in PR/MRB for DoD contracts.
• 3 years experience working RCCA against systemic issues.
• 2 years experience with supervising or executing quality controls over production or subcontractors.
• Working knowledge of SAP & MES.

Primary Level Salary Range: $126,600.00 - $189,800.00

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
