Perform as the control account manager (CAM) for the entire Support Equipment Operating Unit (OU) SEIT organization scope, managing a 1500-line Integrated Master Schedule (IMS), managing at least 8 control accounts, and hundreds of millions of dollars in scope. The CAM would understand the tasks each team is performing, ensure EVMS compliance, and build relationships between the team, segment leadership, and the business management office.
The successful candidate will have full responsibility for the full cost account lifecycle including managing EAC, risks, change board packages, rolling waves, presenting to leadership, writing VARs and other CAM activities. In addition to the primary CAM role, this role will often be asked to lead a small team performing special engineering initiatives to investigate efficiencies or perform short-term high-priority work, such as lead rough order-of-magnitude (ROM) and basis of estimate (BOE) development.
This position is a dual-role manager position, involving balancing both the overall functional oversight and management of a Systems Engineering group of up to 10 engineers while maintaining a technical baseline of performance on program work. The candidate will spend ~20% of their time on functional/organizational support and ~80% of their time on systems engineering technical program work. Functional management involves, but is not limited to, organizational administrative activities and helping employees’ performance and career development through guidance and training. The direct program responsibilities will be dependent upon programmatic technical work.
This leadership opening is in Roy, Utah with up to 10% travel on occasion.
This position’s standard work schedule is a 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off. This role may offer a competitive relocation assistance package.
Must have the ability to obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) approval within a reasonable period of time (< 1 yr), as determined by the company, to meet its business needs.
Primary Level Salary Range: $139,100.00 - $208,700.00
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
