Job summary

Northrop Grumman Defense Systems is seeking a Systems Engineer / Principal Systems Engineer. This position is located in Roy, UT and supports the Sentinel program. The selected candidate will be responsible for the integration and test of hardware, software, and firmware test stations, defining test set requirements and ensuring design meets acceptance test procedures.

Qualifications

• US citizen with active DoD Secret clearance
• Ability to obtain SAP approval within a reasonable period
• 1+ year experience supporting requirement development or verification

Responsibilities

• Define test requirements and test objectives using Systems Engineering principles
• Assist the team in developing integration and test documentation (test plans, procedures, reports)
• Participate in executing integration, test, and assembly of test sets for developmental flight testing
• Support development and implement testing methods and equipment
• Interface with software developers and systems engineers in support of integration and test activities
• Perform data analysis against requirements and interfaces for each software build or hardware component
• Compile data and define changes required in test equipment, procedures, or test requirements
• Maintain design documentation and follow configuration management requirements
• Experience with Python, MATLAB, or other test scripting SW or tools
