Job summary

Northrop Grumman Defense Systems seeks a Systems Engineer for the Guidance, Navigation, and Control (GN&C) team. Located in Roy, Utah, this role supports the Sentinel program and requires a Secret clearance. Relocation assistance may be available. Travel up to 10% may be required.

The candidate will perform technical planning, requirements development, verification, and MBSE in Cameo, coordinating with design, test and other teams, while delivering clear technical presentations to leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in STEM with 2+ years of related experience; 0 years with a Master’s
• US Citizen with an active U.S. Government Secret Clearance at time of application
• Ability to obtain SAP approval within a reasonable period
• Experience across the systems engineering lifecycle, including requirements development and decomposition, management and traceability, verification & validation planning and execution
• Experience with requirements management tools (e.g., DOORS, or similar)
• Experience preparing and delivering technical presentations to customers or leadership

Responsibilities

• Perform technical planning, system requirement development, requirements verification, architecture and support reviews
• Coordinate with design, test, and other teams; develop requirements in DOORS and MBSE in Cameo
• Demonstrate strong communication, organization, and problem-solving to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders
• Show commitment to ethics and integrity; innovate and operate in a team environment across the program
• Support Guidance & Control Support Equipment requirements, verification, interfaces, architecture, and Major Program Event coordination
