Job summary

Synectics Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented lab assistant to prepare samples for consumer insights studies and to support testing protocols. This role requires careful documentation and strict adherence to instructions.

The position involves standing, moving, lifting up to 30 lbs, maintaining an organized lab and inventory, and assisting with test proctoring and material cleanup on a standard 1st shift, Monday through Friday.

Qualifications

• High School diploma required.
• Bachelor degree preferred.
• 1+ year of lab experience preferred.
• General knowledge of consumer insights or sensory preferred.
• Job requires frequent standing and moving.
• Candidate will need to be lift up to 30lbs.
• Strong attention to detail, reliable/on time is key, can follow lab instructions.
• Must be punctual.
• Shift: 1st shift M-F 8-4pm.

Responsibilities

• Prepare samples for consumer insights studies and run panels by meticulously following protocols and instructions.
• Maintain a well-organized laboratory and inventory, document procedures.
• Assist with test proctoring.
• Responsible for breakdown of testing and cleanup of testing materials.
• Attention to detail a must, familiarity with lab procedures a plus.
• Responsible for cleaning fabrics used in testing in on-site laundry room.
