Job summary

The role requires a deep foundation in structural mechanics, FEA in commercial tools, and experience with mechanical testing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent practical experience.
• 4 years of experience in a structural mechanics and finite element analysis (FEA) environment.
• 3 years of experience using simulation and design tools (Abaqus, Ansys Mechanical, Hypermesh, Siemens NX, Creo) and mechanical testing (tensile, compression, shear, quasi-static, dynamic).

Responsibilities

• Build verified, calibrated, and validated FEA and analytical models for mechanical parts and assemblies.
• Conduct static, dynamic, and structural analyses to predict field failures and sensor performance.
• Correlate simulation results with physical performance to drive early design optimization.
• Explore and integrate materials, technologies, and simulation methods to advance capabilities.
• Partner across product development cycles to create analysis plans and deliver data-driven solutions.
