Job summary

Shield AI is seeking a Sensor Integration Engineer to support selection, characterization, calibration, and integration of multi-modal navigation sensors for the X-BAT State Estimation team. You will work across software, electrical, and mechanical engineering to drive cross-functional efforts.

Responsibilities include sensor integration from specification through production, developing calibration procedures, conducting sensor characterization for IMUs, GNSS, cameras, and other navigation

Qualifications

• BS in a related engineering field is required.
• Experience with sensor integration, calibration, and test planning.
• Ability to work across EE/ME/SW disciplines.

Responsibilities

• Support sensor integration from specification through production.
• Develop calibration procedures for IMUs, GNSS, cameras, and other sensors.
• Conduct sensor characterization and trade studies.
• Collaborate with EE/ME/SW teams on interfaces and data acquisition.
• Participate in design reviews and document findings.
