Qualifications

• 8+ years of engineering experience in mechanical, electrical, or systems engineering.
• 3+ years direct management of engineers including hiring and performance.
• Experience leading cross-functional hardware programs from concept to production.
• Strong fluency in mechanical design and electrical integration.
• Experience managing multiple concurrent workstreams.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and grow a team of engineers developing sensor assemblies and cleaning systems.
• Own program delivery for sensor integration and cleaning hardware, from concept through validation, launch, and fleet support.
• Set technical direction across mechanical packaging, electrical integration, and system-level architecture.
• Partner with sensor performance, perception, test, manufacturing, and quality teams to meet requirements.
• Manage program scope, schedule, and resources across concurrent projects.
• Drive cross-functional design reviews, DFMEA/PFMEA, and validation planning.
• Represent the team to engineering leadership, communicating status, tradeoffs, and risks.
• Recruit, develop, and retain engineering talent and foster a culture of ownership.
