Job summary

Raytheon in Andover, MA seeks a Director of Test Calibration and Equipment Maintenance to lead calibration strategy across the Sensors Portfolio. You will oversee a team of engineers, technicians, and managers, driving maintenance programs and calibrations to meet program requirements.

You will develop policies compliant with ISO 9001 and AS9100, manage budgets, and ensure safety and environmental standards. This is a high-impact leadership role reporting to the VP of Sensor Operations.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a university degree or equivalent experience and a minimum of 14 years prior relevant experience, or an advanced degree in a related field and a minimum of 12 years’ experience.
• Experience in Manufacturing, Test Equipment Calibration, Maintenance, Engineering, and / or Operations.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategy for test equipment calibration and maintenance across the Sensors Portfolio.
• Develop policies and procedures to ensure ISO 9001 / AS9100 compliance.
• Oversee planning, scheduling, and execution of preventive and corrective maintenance.
• Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, and quality teams to ensure equipment performance.
• Drive innovation in calibration processes and technologies to reduce downtime.
• Manage budgets and resources for calibration labs and maintenance activities.
• Develop and mentor a high-performing team of technicians, engineers, and managers.
• Ensure compliance with EH&S regulations in calibration operations.
• Provide regular updates and reports to senior leadership on readiness and metrics.
