Job summary

Carrier Global Corporation seeks an Electrical Engineer to contribute to sensor design, development, validation, and support for HVAC and building automation applications. You will perform engineering tasks, run tests, troubleshoot, and collaborate with cross-functional teams and suppliers.

The role emphasizes sensor technologies, circuit design, test planning, data analysis, and contributing to reliability and cost-reduction initiatives; travel to suppliers and labs may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering/Technology or Computer Engineering.
• 2+ years of experience in sensor development or electronic product development.

Responsibilities

• Design and support sensor products with guidance from senior engineers.
• Develop release packages: BOMs, drawings, specs, test plans, and docs.
• Interface with customers and stakeholders to derive sensor specifications.
• Lead or participate in test plans to evaluate accuracy, reliability, and environmental performance.
• Support sensor circuit design, component selection, and design reviews.
• Collaborate with manufacturing to implement changes via ECNs and CAPAs.
• Assist in regulatory testing and new product introductions.
