Job summary

Automation Products Group Inc. is seeking an assembler to perform various operations for level, pressure, and aerospace sensors. Assemblers may be cross-trained in multiple production areas to support diverse manufacturing needs.

Responsibilities include following procedures, using hand and machine tools, and potentially soldering components. The role requires good dexterity, clear communication, and the ability to read and follow written instructions.

Qualifications

  • High school education or equivalent required.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to read and follow written instructions, and to follow verbal instructions; excellent problem-solving ability.
  • Good manual dexterity and fine motor skills; basic computer skills.

Description

Perform various assembly operations for level, pressure, and aerospace sensors. Assemblers may be cross trained in multiple production areas.



  • Follows required work procedures to assemble, modify, rework, or reassemble units, components and or sub-assemblies.

  • Use hand tools, machine tools and various types of equipment to assemble products.

  • Assembly work may require the soldering of components.


Requirements

Qualified applicants will typically posses the following:


A high school education or equivalent.


Good written and verbal communication skills. The ability to read and follow written instructions, and to follow verbal instructions, as well as the ability to recognize and solve problems. Good manual dexterity and fine motor skills. Basic Computer skills.


Experience with electronics board assembly preferred. Testing experience, the ability to work under a microscope and J-STD-001E soldering certification would be beneficial.
