A leading company in technology is seeking a seasoned engineer to validate and characterize capacitive touch sensors for new applications. This role includes collaboration with multiple teams and requires substantial experience in the industry, particularly in sensor technology and hardware testing.

You will be responsible for characterizing, integrating, and validating capacitive touch sensors for new product applications from conception through product release. You will collaborate cross-functionally with product design, test, firmware, system engineering, and product operations teams. Your responsibilities include defining key performance indicators for sensor module and system-level testing, developing test scripts for hardware validation and factory testing, leading infrastructure and automation efforts for hardware testing, and designing hardware architectures for novel sensor test setups.
You will perform hands-on bench measurements for validation and troubleshooting, conduct failure analysis to identify root causes and implement corrective actions, evaluate new technologies and methods to enhance sensor testing, and document specifications for design, testing, and failure analysis processes. Business travel (up to 10%) may be required to support product development and testing.
Note: The compensation range for this role is between $175,800 and $312,200, depending on skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
