AltexSoft is seeking a Senior Full-stack Engineer with strong TypeScript and AWS expertise to design and deliver scalable cloud-native solutions for international travel and hospitality tech projects.

You will build backend services in Node.js/TypeScript, craft responsive frontends, and participate in architectural decisions while working in a fast-paced Agile environment.

We are looking for a Senior Full-stack Engineer with strong expertise in TypeScript and AWS to join our engineering team. In this role, you will work on building scalable cloud-native applications, designing reliable backend services, and developing modern frontend solutions for international products across various domains, including travel and hospitality technology. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, participate in architectural decisions, and contribute to the delivery of high-quality software solutions. We are looking for a proactive engineer with strong ownership, problem-solving abilities, and a long-term commitment mindset who enjoys working in fast-paced Agile environments.

As a Travel and Hospitality Technology Consulting company, we partner with online travel agencies, travel management solution providers, and innovative startups to create custom software products used by businesses worldwide.

You Have

• 5+ years commercial full-stack development experience
• Strong React, Vue, or Angular experience
• Hands-on AWS experience (Lambda, ECS, EC2, S3, RDS, CloudFront, API Gateway, IAM, CloudWatch, or similar)
• Experience building scalable microservices/distributed systems
• SSR experience (Next.js or similar)
• Understanding of serverless/cloud-native architectures
• REST API and async communication experience
• Solid SQL/NoSQL database knowledge
• CI/CD and automated deployment experience
• Understanding of architecture principles and design patterns
• Git and collaborative workflow experience
• Testing knowledge (unit, integration, e2e)
• Ability to work independently and drive technical decisions
• Experience optimizing app performance and cloud costs
• Security best-practices knowledge
• Familiarity with monitoring/observability tools
• Experience with AI coding assistants (Cursor, Copilot, etc.

Would be a plus

• IaC experience (Terraform, CloudFormation)
• Travel, hospitality, booking, or e-commerce domain experience
• Basic Kubernetes knowledge
• Mentoring/technical leadership experience
