Job summary

The Franklin County Rehab is hiring a Cook / Dietary Cook to join our dietary and healthcare food service team in a nursing home setting. You will prepare nutritious meals, follow dietary requirements, and work with the dietary staff to ensure quality resident dining experiences.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook breakfast, lunch, dinner, and snacks according to menus and recipes.
• Cook meals for residents in a skilled nursing or long-term care setting.
• Follow portions, schedules and special dietary requirements.
• Ensure meals are safe, hot, and appealing for residents.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary kitchen area.
• Coordinate with dietary and nursing staff to support residents' needs.
