Job summary

EY is seeking a Senior within the Data Protection and Privacy team to lead defined Zscaler security and data protection workstreams. The role focuses on designing secure, well-governed zero trust environments with hands-on Zscaler experience across ISA and ZPA, while guiding broader architecture decisions.

You will translate business, security, and regulatory requirements into practical zero trust designs, roadmaps, and implementation plans, coordinating with multiple teams and stakeholders

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS, Engineering, Cybersecurity or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 3–6 years in cybersecurity, zero trust, data protection, or related technology consulting.
• Hands-on implementation/architecture with Zscaler (ISA or ZPA).
• Knowledge of Zscaler capabilities such as Zscaler Digital Experience, Client Connector, data protection, browser security.
• Experience with enterprise projects and cross-stakeholder collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Lead defined Zscaler security and data protection workstreams from discovery to deployment planning.
• Design and support Zscaler Zero Trust Exchange solutions (ISA, ZPA, ZDX).
• Develop secure internet/SaaS access designs (SWG, CASB, cloud firewall, SSL inspection).
• Create zero trust private app access designs (App Connector, privilege remote access).
• Incorporate data protection requirements into Zscaler designs (cloud DLP, inline inspection).
• Support zero trust assessments, roadmaps, and architecture activities.
• Facilitate client workshops and stakeholder interviews across security domains.
• Translate requirements into architecture diagrams, traffic-flow designs, and migration plans.
