• Associate’s degree in Zoning/Planning or related field with 5+ years of related experience including 2+ years in code enforcement/inspection.
• High School Diploma/G.E.D. with 7+ years of related experience including 3+ years in code enforcement/inspection.

Aufgaben

• Respond to complaints of zoning code violations and investigate infractions.
• Conduct site visits to verify complaints and collect evidence.
• Issue notices, citations, and follow up inspections as needed.
• Interpret and enforce zoning codes, discuss violations with owners and contractors.
• Maintain records and case files in accordance with guidelines.
• Prepare documents for court cases and testify when required.
• Stay current with applicable laws, regulations and standards.
