Job summary

Becton, Dickinson and Company (BD) in Franklin Lakes, NJ, seeks a Senior Manager of Demand Planning to lead zero-touch AI forecasting initiatives and enterprise IBP adoption across BD’s business units. You will drive automation, standardize best practices, and partner with Data Science, IT, and commercial leaders to elevate forecast accuracy.

The role requires deep experience in AI/ML-based forecasting, S&OP/IBP, and change leadership, with travel up to 25%.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, Operations Research, Data Science, Statistics, or related field.
• 8 years of progressive experience in demand planning, S&OP/IBP, or advanced forecasting within complex manufacturing or MedTech environments.
• Demonstrated hands-on experience implementing or scaling AI/ML-based demand forecasting solutions (not just statistical forecasting).
• Ability to travel domestically and internationally 25%.

Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end implementation of zero-touch AI demand forecasting solutions across BUs and product portfolios.
• Define operating model for zero-touch forecasting including automation thresholds and governance.
• Coach BU Demand Planners on AI-augmented forecasting and measure adoption metrics.
• Define and track KPIs for demand planning performance and drive data quality and process improvements.
• Collaborate with IBP, Commercial, Supply Planning, and Finance leadership across units.
