Qualifications

• Associate degree in child development, Elementary Ed. or related field, or HS diploma with two years' experience.
• Experience working with parent groups (volunteers, PTAs, AmeriCorps).
• Bilingual in English and Spanish/Cantonese/Mandarin preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support group leaders and program aides with classroom activities as directed by the DYCD program Director.
• Plan and implement theme-based projects and developmentally appropriate activities.
• Maintain positive relations with host school, parents, staff and children.
• Adhere to University Settlement policies and Health Department guidelines; uphold confidentiality.
• Supervise arrival, snack and dismissal of assigned unit; manage supplies inventory.
