Job summary

CASES is seeking a Senior Youth Worker in New York, NY. The role involves building transformative relationships with youth in the ACES project, with a focus on outreach in East Harlem and the South Bronx.

Qualifications

• Deep passion for working with youth and young adults impacted by the criminal legal system.
• Willingness to adhere to an evolving model in ACES.
• Ability to drive a 15-passenger van.

Responsibilities

• Develop trusting/transformative relationships with youth referred to the program.
• Be the first point of contact for new referrals.
• Contact youth 2-3 times per week in person in the community.
• Escort participants to appointments and co-facilitate in-office programming.
• Manage stress and use supervision and team meetings effectively.
• Use program database to track work and measure program performance.
