Job summary

Castle Country Youth Center in Utah is seeking an JJYS Lead Youth Development Specialist to oversee high-risk youth programs on-site in Price. The role requires leading staff, counseling youth and coordinating treatment plans within a community facility.

Qualifications

• Six years of paid work experience with troubled or at-risk youth.
• Six years of full-time education or equivalent.
• A valid Utah Driver's License.

Responsibilities

• Counsels and supervises youth with complex behaviors as lead worker.
• Schedule shift work, training, treatment planning and program facilitation.
• Provide security, supervision, and direction to ensure safety and conduct.
• Write court reports, parole summaries, and supervision standards.
• Lead or supervise staff and participate in hiring and discipline decisions.
• Apply behavior-analytic principles in decisions.
