Job summary

Rockstar Games seeks a Senior Workplace Manager to oversee day-to-day office operations, facilities services, vendor relationships, and budgets at their Andover, MA studio. You will lead a team, coordinate repairs, security, and space management, and ensure regulatory and safety compliance.

You will partner with senior leadership to standardize programs and drive cost-effective, scalable operations across the site, with strong emphasis on cross-functional collaboration and timely delivery.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years in real estate, workplace services, or facility management within a corporate office setting.
  • 3+ years of experience leading and developing teams through coaching and performance management.
  • Understanding of facility systems (HVAC, lighting, electrical, plumbing) and ability to communicate with trades.
  • Experience using work order ticketing systems and project management tools (e.g. ServiceNow, Monday.com).
  • Familiarity with architectural drawings and construction documentation.
  • Experience budgeting and financial planning for operational expenses.
  • Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving with cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee vendor relationships and procurement including sourcing, contracts, RFPs, POs, invoicing, and service performance.
  • Ensure lease obligations are met and buildings-related issues are addressed effectively.
  • Oversee workplace budgets and manage operational and capital expenditures.
  • Use the internal ticketing system to prioritize requests and coordinate services.
  • Mentor and develop Workplace team members and foster a collaborative culture.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, fire, sustainability, and regulatory requirements.
  • Lead workplace projects and regional initiatives with alignment to global standards and timelines.

Rockstar is on the lookout for a talented and passionate Senior Workplace Manager. The ideal candidate will provide key management of the studio’s day-to-day operation and facilities services.

This is a full-time, in-office position based out of Rockstar’s development studio in Andover, MA.

WHAT WE DO
  • The Rockstar Workplace Services Team is responsible for ensuring the workplace, building, facilities, and services work harmoniously together to support the core business.
  • We foster a creative, supportive, and safe working environment for the staff at Rockstar.
  • We manage and develop a variety of programs and services, including space management, building maintenance, security, cleaning, and project management.
  • We ensure the site complies with all relevant regulations and legislation.
  • We partner with senior leadership to drive efficient practices, sound operational plans, and to standardize the development of programs and services across global regions.
RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Manage the day-to-day office operations including coordinating repairs and maintenance, food/beverage program, janitorial services, physical security, and space management.
  • Oversee vendor relationships and procurement, including sourcing, contracts, RFPs, purchase orders, invoicing, and service performance.
  • Ensure lease obligations are met and building-related issues are addressed effectively.
  • Oversee workplace budgets, ensuring management of operational and capital expenditures.
  • Utilize the internal ticketing system to prioritize requests, coordinate services, and deliver timely resolutions.
  • Mentor and develop Workplace team members while fostering a collaborative, high-performing culture.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety, fire, sustainability, and all applicable legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Lead workplace projects and regional initiatives from planning through execution, ensuring alignment with global standards, on-time delivery, and effective stakeholder communication.
REQUIREMENTS
  • 5+ years of experience in real estate, workplace services, and/or facility management within a corporate office setting.
  • 3+ years of experience leading and developing teams through coaching, communication, performance management, and conflict resolution.
  • An understanding of facility systems (HVAC, lighting, electrical, plumbing) and ability to communicate with trades to assess needs and troubleshoot issues.
  • Experience using work order ticketing systems, project management tools, financial and space management software (such as BMS, Lenel, ServiceNow, Monday.com, OfficeSpace, and Microsoft 365).
  • Familiarity with architectural drawings and construction documentation.
  • Experience managing budgets and financial planning for operational expenses.
  • Strong strategic thinking, planning and problem-solving skills, with the ability to develop long-term operational strategies, manage competing priorities, and drive continuous improvement.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to collaborate cross-functionally and share best practices.
  • Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and flexibility to work outside of regular business hours as needed.
PLUSES

  • Experience supporting software development and/or creative teams within the video games, film, television and/or music industry.
  • IFMA qualification.
  • OSHA Safety training or equivalent.
  • Corporate office construction project experience.

NE Base Pay Range
