Job summary

Perkins Eastman in New York, NY seeks a Corporate Interiors Project Architect III to lead technical design and production of construction documents for interior projects. You will oversee BIM workflows, coordinate with engineers and clients, and support project delivery from inception to closeout.

The role requires a Bachelor or Master in Architecture or Interior Design, 10+ years’ workplace interiors experience, strong communication, and proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD and related tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Master Degree in Architecture or Interior Design.
• Minimum 10 years of relevant Workplace Interiors experience.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with others.
• Proficiency with Revit, AutoCAD; familiarity with 3D design software is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform site surveys and document existing conditions to support project planning and design development.
• Conduct architectural code reviews to ensure compliance with building codes and project requirements.
• Prepare work plans for design and technical teams.
• Act as BIM lead and BIM manager and create Revit models for project inception.
• Prepare construction documents, technical drawings, and project specifications for all phases.
• Coordinate project documentation with engineers, consultants, contractors, and vendors.
• Conduct QA/QC reviews to verify design intent and code compliance.
• Attend construction and coordination meetings and respond to RFIs.
• Perform construction administration including site visits and field observations.
• Review shop drawings and submittals for conformance with design intent.
• Prepare punch lists and verify completion during closeout.
• Mentor junior staff and support their development.
