Pivot Interiors, Inc. is seeking an experienced Designer to lead comprehensive design projects for a diverse client base.

You will collaborate with sales, project management, and procurement to deliver compelling space concepts, presentations, and production-ready deliverables. Your leadership will shape client experience and contribute to business development through presenting strategies and winning proposals.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional experience in interior design or architecture.
• Bachelor’s degree in architecture or interior design from an accredited 4-year university (or equivalent).
• Must be a certified Interior Designer or actively pursuing certification.
• Active membership in a professional organization.
• Experience creating and developing design concepts and presentation strategies with knowledge of design history and trends.
• Strong knowledge of furniture systems, accessories, and bespoke products.
• Proficiency with building systems, codes, electrical, and cabling.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Outstanding graphic presentation skills.
• Strong mentoring skills and ability to lead and train others.
• Proven track record of maintaining and growing client relationships.

Responsibilities

• Lead project design across programming, space planning, presentations, design development, and production.
• Drive design solutions and client engagement, delivering innovative, tailored solutions.
• Collaborate with sales executives on proposals and RFP responses and represent design strategy.
• Develop and implement creative design strategies and budgets.
• Coordinate deliverables with internal and external design resources.
• Navigate client and partner interactions; articulate design concepts clearly.
• Identify project risks and propose creative solutions; execute next steps.
• Mentor junior design staff and train team members.
