Job summary

Requires a high school diploma or equivalent, with six months of experience in medical payments, workers’ compensation, or customer service preferred; veterans’ preference and background check apply.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• Six (6) months of experience processing medical payments or knowledge of medical terms preferred.
• Six (6) months of experience with workers’ compensation claims or a post-secondary degree may substitute for the preferred experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist workers’ compensation specialists with reviewing and evaluating medical-only claims.
• Process and pay medical and legal bills associated with workers’ compensation claims.
• Review First Report of Injury forms.
