Qualifications

• 7+ years of legal practice in workers' compensation litigation with trials, motions, and related proceedings.
• JD from an accredited law school and NJ bar admission.

Responsibilities

• Analyze complex legal and factual issues and develop research.
• Independently create and present defense strategies for clients.
• Prepare pleadings, discovery, trial briefs, and collaborate with staff attorneys and paralegals.
• Partner with Claims to achieve best results for Hartford client/insured.
• Communicate with court and counsel with professionalism and discretion.
• Prepare witnesses and evidence for trials and hearings.
• Draft appellate briefs and participate in continuing legal education.
