Job summary

Zurich North America seeks a Sr. Workers' Compensation Defense Attorney to join our Staff Legal team and work on a hybrid schedule from our Philadelphia office. You will represent commercial insureds in high-exposure New Jersey Workers' Compensation cases and manage all phases of litigation with claims professionals.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (JD) required with 7+ years of Workers' Compensation litigation experience.
• Active member in good standing with the New Jersey Bar Association.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Adobe; experience with Lexis or Westlaw is expected.

Responsibilities

• Represent Zurich in all phases of New Jersey Workers' Compensation litigation.
• Prepare and file legal pleadings and documents; conduct legal research.
• Handle pre-trial discovery, hearings, and post-trial activities as appropriate.
