Acadia Insurance, a regional property casualty insurer and part of W.R. Berkley Corporation, is seeking a Senior Workers' Compensation Claims Representative in New Hampshire.

The role involves investigating, evaluating, and resolving claims in compliance with state requirements and company standards. Responsibilities include on-site investigations, communicating with insureds, claimants, attorneys, and agents, negotiating settlements, and managing reserves for exposure.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of related experience.
• NH/Maine WC Lost Time claims experience.
• NH WC adjuster license required.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Valid Driver's License.
• Advanced professional insurance coursework preferred.

Responsibilities

• Investigate, evaluate and resolve workers' compensation claims.
• Communicate findings to insureds, claimants, attorneys and agents.
• Conduct detailed claim investigations including on-site reviews.
• Manage reserves and escalate high-exposure cases.
• Negotiate settlements in good faith.
• Manage litigated claims with defense counsel.
• Maintain documentation in a paperless system.
• Collaborate with other departments on claim trends.
• Foster relationships with agency partners.
