Job summary

Gallagher is seeking a Senior Claims Examiner for a remote role based in California. You’ll help clients navigate Workers' Compensation claims and work with a team to deliver timely, accurate outcomes while keeping client satisfaction at the forefront.

The ideal candidate has at least 5 years of claims experience, is licensed or able to obtain licenses in applicable states, and uses litigation management and lien resolution to support outcomes.

Qualifications

• High school diploma and 5 years related claims experience.
• Licensed and/or certified in all states in which claims are handled or able to obtain licenses per local requirements.
• Extensive knowledge of industry standards and practices.
• Computer experience with related claims and business software.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage Workers' Compensation indemnity claims with care and precision.
• Oversee complex claim issues, including litigation management and lien resolution.
• Maintain claim diaries, update reserves, and report to stakeholders.
• Collaborate with legal teams and clients to maintain satisfaction.
• Negotiate settlements and monitor defense attorneys; ensure regulatory compliance.
