Job summary

You will prepare correspondence, memoranda, briefs and pleadings and conduct depositions of claimants, insureds, and expert witnesses.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor from an accredited U.S. law school.
• Licensed with the NJ Bar Association.
• Minimum of 2-3 years of workers' compensation litigation experience representing insured and self-insured employers.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word and able to use internal legal billing software/systems.

Responsibilities

• Represent insured and self-insured employers in workers' compensation litigation.
• Prepare legal correspondence, memoranda, briefs and pleadings.
• Conduct depositions of claimants, insureds, and expert witnesses.
• Negotiate and settle litigated claims and advise clients on developments in workers' compensation law and procedure.
