Job summary

Concentrix is seeking a Sr. Payroll Specialist to manage end-to-end U.S. and Canadian payroll and to serve as the Workday Payroll subject matter expert. The role emphasizes accurate, timely, and compliant payroll processing across multiple jurisdictions.

You will review inputs, handle mid-cycle and off-cycle payrolls, support year-end processing, audits, and collaborate with HR, Tax, Finance, and external providers to drive process improvements and data accuracy.

Qualifications

  • 4–5+ years of progressive payroll experience in US and Canada
  • Experience with Workday Payroll
  • Strong Excel skills and data analysis
  • Knowledge of US federal, state, local and Canada payroll legislation
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and complex payroll issues

Responsibilities

  • Process end-to-end bi-weekly and off-cycle payrolls for U.S. and Canadian employees
  • Review payroll inputs such as time records, salary changes, new hires, terminations, leaves, deductions, and adjustments
  • Support payroll activities including regular pay, overtime, bonuses, and commissions
  • Ensure accuracy in payroll totals and hand-off to Treasury/Accounting
  • Maintain compliance with U.S. federal/state/local and Canadian payroll laws
  • Assist with year-end activities and payroll tax filings
  • Serve as a Workday Payroll SME for NA payroll operations and system changes
  • Collaborate with HRIS, Tax, Finance and vendors on improvements and testing
