Job summary

Cognizant is seeking an experienced Workday Financials Senior Principal Consultant, Record to Report, to lead the Financials workstream onshore. You will apply AMS methodologies, coordinate with the GDC, and ensure timely delivery while supporting daily operations and on‑call coverage.

Ideal candidates have 5–7 years in Workday report writing and analytics, strong communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast‑paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a technical field.
• Certification in Workday Financials is required.
• 5-7 years of experience in Workday report writing and analytics.
• Ability to multitask and handle diverse duties.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Willing to go the extra mile to solve customer problems.
• Analytical skills with ability to resolve complex incidents.

Responsibilities

• Onshore functional lead for Financials, specifically Record to Report.
• Apply AMS and implementation methodologies in Workday Financials projects.
• Collaborate with GDC on day-to-day activities, incidents, and requests.
• Provide on-call support and holiday coverage as required.
• Maintain SLA adherence and drive process improvements.
• Coordinate with stakeholders to deliver high business impact.
• Develop dashboards to improve Workday utilization and metrics.
• Identify/resove issues affecting project scope or timeline.
• Maintain Workday reporting, security, data loads and audits.
• Lead a team of Workday consultants across engagements.
