Job summary

RSM US LLP is seeking a Workday Functional Sr Analyst to lead and optimize Finance Operations within Finance. You will standardize Workday processes, govern configurations, and mentor analysts to deliver scalable, high-impact solutions.

The role demands a strong Workday Finance background, experience in O2C/P2P cycles, and collaboration with stakeholders and PMO to drive strategic initiatives. A Bachelor’s degree is required, with Workday Certification preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree (required) BBA/BCOM or similar.
• Workday Certified - see below (preferred).
• Minimum 5 years of Workday experience in a development/implementation environment.
• Three to five years of experience in financial applications and processes.
• Strong Workday Finance background across core areas such as Accounting, O2C, P2P, and Reporting.
• Experience leading a team on large or complex projects.
• Excellent written and spoken communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Define and enforce consistent Workday processes and standards across the Finance Digital team, creating templates, workflows, and review checkpoints to reduce rework and improve delivery speed.
• Oversee system governance, configuration standards, and change management processes.
• Collaborate with and mentor a team of analysts, fostering professional development and high performance.
• Provide strategic leadership and oversight of Finance Digital Team initiatives, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
• Collaborate with Business Stakeholders and PMO on roadmap planning, prioritization, and execution of Finance Digital Team projects.
• Develop and deliver executive-level reporting and presentations on Finance Operations performance and initiatives.
• Other duties as assigned; support additional initiatives and responsibilities as needed to advance organizational goals.
