Valiant Technologies LLC is seeking a Senior Workday Finance Lead to own the financial data model, configure R2R processes, and oversee budgeting and forecasting in Adaptive Planning. The role includes period-close ownership, bank reconciliation, and reporting for external financial statements.

The position is an initial 13-month engagement in Plano, TX, with compensation depending on experience. This is an on-site, contract-structured opportunity with DOE hourly rates.

Qualificações

• Proficient in Adaptive Planning integrations and version management for budgeting.
• Knowledge of bank reconciliations, tax rules, and treasury-related configurations.

• Design and build Composite Reports for external statements (Balance Sheet, P&L, Cash Flow).
• Support daily run tasks: period close, bank reconciliation, and user support in Adaptive.

Work Authorization:

• Record to Report (R2R): Own the Financial Data Model (FDM). Configure Business Processes for Journals, Fixed Assets, and Allocations. Design the period-close checklist to shorten close cycles.
• Adaptive Planning: Maintain the integration between Workday Core Fin and Adaptive. Manage versions, sheets, and level structures for annual budgeting and forecasting.
• Tax & Treasury: Configure Bank Account Management, Settlement Rules, and Ad-hoc Bank Transactions. Manage withholding tax rules and sales tax adapter integrations.
• Reporting: Design Composite Reports for external financial statements (Balance Sheet, P&L, Cash Flow).

L2 Support & Operational Activities (Daily Run)

• Period Close Support: Troubleshoot "red" errors preventing period close (e.g., resolving unposted journals, fixing accounting date mismatches).
• Bank Reconciliation : Investigate and fix bank statement lines that fail to auto-reconcile with system transactions.
• Adaptive User Support: Tro ubleshoot access issues for budget managers and fix broken formulas in Adaptive sheets.
• FDM Governance: Review and approve requests for new Cost Centers or Ledger Accounts, ensuring they map correctly to Adaptive.
