Job summary

Mastercard is seeking a Senior Software Integration Engineer focused on Workday Extend and integrations. You will design, develop, test, and operate Extend-based employee applications, build integrations via Studio, Orchestrate, REST and SOAP APIs, and collaborate with product and security teams in an Agile environment.

You’ll mentor junior engineers, contribute to architecture discussions, and help improve CI/CD practices while delivering secure, scalable Workday solutions for a global

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience building and optimizing Workday Extend applications.
• Experience with Workday integrations: Studio, Orchestrate, Core Connectors, EIBs, APIs.
• Proficiency in REST, SOAP, JSON, XML and integration patterns.
• Strong collaboration with cross-functional teams in Agile environments.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, deploy, and support Extend apps with security config.
• Take Extend projects through full lifecycle including documentation and support.
• Maintain and secure existing Extend apps, addressing issues and enhancements.
• Optimize Extend apps for performance, usability, and debt reduction; adopt new Extend capabilities.
• Create reusable components and patterns to accelerate delivery.
• Prototype Extend ideas and share learnings with the team.
• Develop and support integrations using Studio, Orchestrate, Core Connectors, EIBs, API access.
• Apply secure, observable, and maintainable integration standards.
• Collaborate with Product Owners, Security, Engineering to refine requirements.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and drive delivery improvements.
• Mentor junior engineers and contractors through pairing and code reviews.
• Automate Workday workflows and improve CI/CD and monitoring practices.
