Job summary

Baseten is seeking a hands-on Workday Analyst to join our People team as we bring Workday in-house. You will own tenant configuration from go-live, build business processes, manage security, load data, and test releases with our deployment partner.

You will mentor teammates, support payroll configuration, and collaborate with IT and accounting to ensure smooth operations as Baseten scales rapidly in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 6+ years administering a live Workday tenant in-house.
• Deep Workday HCM core: configuration, security admin, Report Writer.
• Fluent with EIBs and end-to-end data loads.
• Experience shipping multiple Workday releases and testing.

Responsibilities

• Own day-to-day Workday configuration: business processes, security groups/roles, reports, fields, tenant settings.
• Build and run EIB loads for data changes, mass updates, audits.
• Own the twice-yearly Workday release cycle: evaluate features, regression-test, roll out changes.
• Shadow the implementation build, then take over tenant ownership at go-live.
• Monitor integrations and triage issues with IT and vendors.
• Support payroll configuration with Accounting and payroll services provider.
• Field and resolve system requests from employees and managers.
• Mentor teammates to grow Workday administration.
