Job summary

Encore Capital Group in the United States is seeking a Senior Financial Systems Analyst, Adaptive Planning, to administer and develop the Workday Adaptive Planning environment. You will partner with Global FP&A and Finance stakeholders to enhance forecasting, budgeting, reporting, and workforce planning, translating requirements into scalable system solutions.

The role involves approximately 75% system administration, development, and integration work, with ~25% focused on traditional FP&A

Qualifications

• 2+ years of FP&A, financial systems, or related Finance roles with hands-on Workday Adaptive Planning experience.
• Strong FP&A fundamentals with Adaptive Planning experience.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Demonstrated ability to translate Finance requirements into system solutions.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot data and system issues.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work across Finance, Accounting, IT, and business teams.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary administrator and SME for Workday Adaptive Planning, maintaining and developing the platform.
• Develop and maintain Adaptive models, sheets, accounts, dimensions, and planning workflows.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, long-range planning, workforce planning, scenario modeling and reporting within Adaptive.
• Translate FP&A requirements into scalable Adaptive Planning solutions.
• Identify opportunities to automate manual processes and improve planning efficiency.
• Maintain integrations and data flows between Adaptive and other enterprise systems.
• Perform data validation, reconciliation, and troubleshooting to ensure data integrity.
• Assist with system releases, upgrades, testing, documentation, and change management.
• Develop documentation and training materials for Adaptive users.
