Job summary

Eliassen Group is seeking a Workday Adaptive Planning Engineer to design, build, and maintain financial planning and forecasting solutions. The role partners with FP&A, Accounting, and Finance Systems to translate planning requirements into scalable Adaptive Planning models and to own the technical health of the platform.

The engineer will manage model design, data integration with Workday Financials, and ongoing data quality.

Qualifications

• 3+ years configuring and maintaining Workday Adaptive Planning, including model design and allocations.
• Solid understanding of financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes.
• Experience integrating Adaptive Planning with Workday Financials or other systems.
• Knowledge of Workday data model including ledgers and worktags.

Responsibilities

• Design, configure, and maintain Workday Adaptive Planning models, sheets, and dimensions.
• Build and optimize data flows between Workday Financials and Adaptive Planning.
• Develop and optimize formulas, allocations, and modeled sheets.
• Own data accuracy, refresh cadence, and reconciliation across sources.
• Configure security, user access, and workflow in Adaptive Planning.
• Support planning cycles with testing, dashboards, and production support.
