You will lead development of work zone traffic management plans, signing delineation, and pavement marking plans for NCDOT and other agencies, mentoring staff and coordinating with clients.

Required: BS in Civil Engineering or Civil Engineering Technology (ABET-accredited), 16+ years of relevant experience with NCDOT projects, NC PE license, and proficiency with

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil Engineering or Civil Engineering Technology from an ABET-accredited program.
• 16+ years of relevant experience with minimum 8 years delivering NCDOT Traffic Management, Signing, and Pavement Marking Plan (PMP) projects with signed/sealed plans.
• Professional Engineer (PE) licensed in NC.
• Working knowledge of MUTCD, AASHTO, and NCDOT Standards, Specifications and Guidelines.

• Lead development of work zone traffic management plans, signing delineation, and pavement marking plans for NCDOT and other agencies.
• Manage projects, budgets, scopes and schedules; mentor staff; coordinate with clients and subconsultants.
