Job summary

Akima Infrastructure Services (AIS) is seeking a Work Control Planner III to operate in Oak Ridge, TN. The role requires planning and exercising judgment in adapting standard methods for work control and maintenance and calibration tasks.

The candidate should have a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field and at least 5 years of related experience. This is an on-site position with employment contingent on contract award and funding.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, Facility Management or other relevant discipline.
• At least 5 years of directly related experience.

Responsibilities

• Prepares work package.
• Participates in effective planning meetings.
• Assists with preparation and tracking of work order development.
• Assists in preparing work documents authorizing maintenance and calibration.
• Assists in prioritizing estimates, and establishing man hours needed for work package development.
• Supports miscellaneous and work control planning activities as required by manager.
• Completes work assignments with a high level of quality and accountability, with strong communication and relationship-building.

Education
