Job summary

Akima Infrastructure Services (AIS) in Oak Ridge, TN is seeking a Work Control Planner IV to manage and execute work packages for complex maintenance projects, under moderate supervision.

Responsibilities include preparing work packages, tracking work orders, reviewing documents for classification, prioritization, and description, and ensuring high-quality, accountable delivery through clear communication and coordination.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, Facility Management or other relevant discipline.
• 8 years directly related experience required.
• Experience with type I work planning required.
• Some experience with procedure writing required.
• Familiarity with established policies, methods, and practices of the Company strongly desired.

Responsibilities

• Prepares work package
• Participates in effective - results driven planning meetings
• Prepares and tracks work order development in support of assigned field activities.
• Reviews and analyzes work documents for proper classification, priority, and description.
• Prepares work documents, authorizing maintenance and calibration.
• Assists in prioritizing estimates, and establishing man hours needed for work package development.
• Completes work assignments with a high level of quality and personal accountability, displaying strong skills in building relationships, communication and motivating others to work together.
