Job summary

FCCI Insurance Group is seeking an experienced Senior Work Comp Claim Adjuster to provide timely investigation and quality handling of liability claims. The role focuses on Florida, Pennsylvania and other mid-Atlantic jurisdictions, partnering with UW and Risk Control to serve agents and policyholders.

Location options include Sarasota or Lake Mary, FL, Richmond, VA, or remote within FCCI territory. Qualified candidates will have a bachelor's degree (or equivalent), at least four years of WC

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent; year-for-year substitution possible for required education.
• Minimum of four years of commercial workers' compensation claim adjusting experience.
• Valid driver's license and safe driving record.
• Current active adjuster license in assigned jurisdiction.
• Strong working knowledge of insurance claim procedures, rules, systems, and regulations.
• Strong working knowledge of claim file management techniques and processes.
• Strong understanding of the judicial and legal systems; knowledge of medical terminology.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Ability to analyze, define and solve problems; the use of good judgment and decision-making.
• Ability to interpret and explain insurance policy coverage and pertinent state regulations.
• AIC, SCLA designation or related coursework or experience.

Responsibilities

• Manage an inventory of claims within departmental guidelines.
• Evaluate coverage/compensability and may perform field investigations.
• Work with UW and Risk Control as part of the One Team approach.
• Ensure quality claim handling leading to file resolution.
