Job summary

Blacksmith Agency is seeking a senior Lead WordPress Developer to own end-to-end custom WordPress projects for clients across the US. You will scope builds, guide themes/templates/plugins/blocks, and set the development approach while maintaining direct client communication in flawless English.

You will drive efficiencies with AI, ensure fast, clean, and highly customized sites, and actively lead or own builds rather than just closing tickets.

Qualifications

• Strong custom WordPress and PHP, plus modern HTML, CSS and JavaScript.
• The ability to scope work and tie it to a client\'s business goals.
• Real fluency using AI to drive development efficiency.
• Client-facing communication and excellent English.
• Experience leading or owning builds, not just closing tickets.
